Repairability is a moving target. We update our scoring rubric frequently to stay current with new technologies, materials, and design trends. This means that devices scored in years past might not fare exactly the same if they were re-scored today, but they can be readily compared with their contemporaries. For a precise list of criteria used 1. LetsDoeItAaron iPhone 14 Pro Max • 7 mo. ago. The “Battery Health” section just reads the charge cycle count of a battery and bases the health percentage on that number. I tested this before on an older iPhone X, when I swapped the battery and charged it in a way so it doesn’t count a “cycle” and kept it at 100% health for two years.

Unpopular opinion: Just use your phone without worrying about the battery health. The iPhone 12 battery lasts for most people easily a day. Even if the capacity is at 80% it lasts long enough for most people. If not, just spend the 80 (?) bucks on a battery replacement.

It would randomly reboot. I wouldn't be doing anything with it or even have it in my hands. The battery would be at 95% every time and reboot. Then when it was back on, the battery would be at 83%. It would happen again at 78% and come back on at 73%. But then it would be good until 2% and shut down completely. Seems a bit early for an iPhone 12 battery replacement. 86%. I’m going off of charge cycle, which is over 500 now. As long as it's over 80% it's fine. Got an 11 pro max at home with 81% and it holds up pretty good, below 80% it gets throttled so will need a replacement then. Yeah, it works fine.

Very relevant. Yes. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is still a relevant and popular smartphone, even though it has been on the market for a few years. Apple typically provides software updates for its devices for several years after their initial release, so it is likely that the iPhone 12 Pro Max will continue to receive updates for the foreseeable future.

Every battery is different though so if you happened to have gotten a 13Pro that had a battery capacity closer to the advertised capacity it’d drop its battery health number faster. For example the advertised capacity for a 13pro is 3095mah. Some 13pros may actually have 3200mah or 3150mah even though they are the same size batteries. It would boot but not register any touches, and wouldn’t even boot with the replacement screens. Through all of that, the replacement batteries did help the original battery life and shutdown issues, but it was a huge hassle and ultimately broke the phone. It would’ve been easier just to get a new phone from the get go. 1hzepy.
